Happy November! I almost feel relief wrapping up the Halloween decorations for next year.

I love Thanksgiving time.

Have you noticed that Thanksgiving decorations are getting harder to find?

Me too.

But you know what? It’s not all about about the decorations.

Maybe it’s about the traditions.

The mind

And the heart.

Last year I posted daily throughout the month of November to recognize things I was thankful for.

This year I will be moving during Thanksgiving. You know, having big life changes.

And I might not have as much time as I want to decorate.

So this year I’m looking for simple ways to display gratitude. To remind of my blessings. That is what I need.

So I looked around and talked to my amazing momma who also had great ideas.

I ended up buying this cute fall tree because my son could participate in the fun of putting things on and taking them off.

So far it’s been a hit! And I’m the meantime, my husband and I can write what we are thankful for each day on a leaf.

Velcro backings so the felt doesn’t just slip off. Good quality for a seasonal activity for the family to remember to count our blessings.

This will help keep the season of gratitude in our minds as we see this tree and the leaves weaves written on.
