Merry Christmas my dear friends! What a beautiful season of joy. As I look back on the year, I can see where my plans and God’s plans did not align.
I can see where I “got in line” and boy was it frustrating at the time. And now looking back I’m thankful.
This year has had its shares of joys and sorrows for our little family. We’ve have such great highs and we’ve had big blows and hurtful lows.
I was given a thoughtful gift for Christmas that I wanted to share with you. I’m just a small blogger that loves everything home. And this gift was all about me managing my home, motherhood, and homemaking!
Keep reading and I posted the link for you, and a $5 coupon in my link below!!
I love being real and sharing things that I truly appreciate.
This year I got a gift for next year.
What do I mean?
The gift of home planning.
I have followed the Passionate Penny Pincher for a long time now. She is an amazing blogger. She has wonderful recipes, and she has great insights. I love her positive outlook, she shows us that being Christian isn’t some thing you find time for. It is part of her purpose.
I was given one of her bundles for Christmas. Included in that was the home planner, the money planner, a scripture journal, and a slow cooker recipes. This is so cool! It is good for 12 weeks. Meal plans all in the crockpot. I am so excited.
You’ll hear more about my New Year’s resolution’s in a later post, but, to give you a little hint: My theme for 2022 is Be Intentional.
I have been looking for a planner that will include everything I needed it but I don’t have to write absolutely everything down. I do a lot of things throughout my day that I feel like I can’t check off the list and sometimes I feel discouraged.
This planner has it all. It has a checklist for me to exercise every day to make my bed start my laundry clean my bathroom sink. They’re really simple things, but it feels so good to be able to do a small checkmark and knock it off my list. It feels like I’m accomplishing something as my toddler is a tornado to my house.
I am so excited to see how this year goes. Of course I also need a way to manage my money. And I am grateful for my handy money planner. My husband and I have big money goals this year with his new job, and I also have many with my business.
It came with the cutest 10 envelope system. The labels are adorable. I just stared at everything for an hour last night. The look and the aesthetic of the entire bundle is just calming, yet powerful. Everything matches! Yet, not overwhelming. They’re soft colors .
She thinks of everything! The Passionate Penny Pincher Planner has a checklist on the side to write something you’re thankful for every day, how much you spent each day, and what your plan is for dinner. This planner is going to be a game changer. And I am so excited.
My church is studying the Old Testament for 2022. Similarly, the The Passionate Penny Pincher Planner has put guided Chapters throughout the planner so that you can read the entire Old Testament throughout the whole year. Her schedule is a little bit off from the one that I will be following with my churches Come Follow Me program. To have that daily reminder on my planner to make sure I read my scriptures is awesome!!
How often do you find a planner that has checkmarks for literally everything and still reminds you to read your scriptures every day?!
I’ve written everything down on planners before. I actually have three 2021 planners I’ve bought one, and two of them were given to me. If I write down exercise, shower, make bed, it takes up the entire page of that one day that I have, and I can’t write down everything else.
It’s also very very time consuming. Having all of this pre-done is perfect. I want to be intentional in my life, I want to be a homemaker. I want to keep my house clean. And she’s got a schedule to do it. She even has your monthly organizing project already put in there for you. It takes the guesswork out of everything. And I am so excited to give this a go.
Wanner know what’s even better? The planner started December 26. Not the new year. So I’m already going on it! You bet I started yesterday. I am going to take you on this journey with me and I am so excited.

I have been looking at her blog and pins for a while now. I love reading her blog, she is a huge inspiration to me. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to have a planner that has literally everything I need in it, and a money planner that coordinates with it.
Planning with class, style, and efficiency. 2022, I am ready to crush some goals and be consistent in my daily routine! Watch out 2022! We’re ready.
Xoxo,
Kelsie Ann
