When my husband and I first got married we bought a thrift store bed frame and we repainted it all cute and farmhouse-looking.
However, one thing I didn’t like was our bed was pretty tall. When I was pregnant I could barely get in bed. I literally had a step stool! Well, a few months ago my little Hudson fell off the bed. It scared me so bad. So I immediately sold the bed and wanted a new one.
(He’s a climber. And although I do my absolute best to watch him- he’s a dare devil!)
I was so adamant about selling our bed frame I sold it and our mattress was on the floor for a little bit.
My husband had one two rules for our bed. It had to be easy to move and it had to be under $300.
Well, he asked, and Amazon delivered! Seriously, I love the bed.
We have moved our bed twice to get into our current place right now. The bed frame had to be in a storage unit for a couple weeks. And honestly it worked out great.
I really like how this bed doesn’t need a box spring! It saved so much space.
We could also put the bed together in less than 30 minutes once it was initially set up. And then it’s just in big pieces.
We wanted to get the exact one at our local furniture store. They were backordered for TWELVE weeks, and $350 without tax.
So I am absolutely impressed with this bed frame. It doesn’t squeak, it’s solid, it’s on a hardwood floor and it doesn’t slide. I couldn’t be happier with my $150 purchase!!
Here’s the link for this bed frame. Check it out! Often it goes on sale- and even at regular price it’s pretty impressive to get such a great bed that’s this easy to move.
I will definitely keep this bed until we are more settled and I don’t have to keep moving. Then I will use this for a guest room.
Happy furniture shopping!
