I have had a hard time preparing food without getting nauseous the last few months. It has been quite the battle for me! But I think it’s in those moments I have bright ideas (that I wonder why they didn’t come sooner). Like a snack box.
This weekend’s little project was a simple snack box for my little toddler. I wanted to have all the snacks in ONE spot. Makes it so much easier and then the little man can choose the snack he would like!
So much of motherhood is cooking, cleaning, sweeping, diaper changing, you get the idea. So small projects like organizing and making a space for his snack box is very small, but necessary.
Even better when we can involve our kids in the project, right?
I ordered the snacks, got my little box, and knocked out this easy project in 5 minutes. Those kinds of projects feel good! Am I right?
I used Walmart delivery to get the prepackaged snacks. (I know, prepackaged…. But we all try where we can!). Little man was so excited to help open his snacks and “help” me arrange them in his snack box.
He knows where his snack box is and he seems to really enjoy selecting his snacks.
I used to think that small projects were just that, small. But now as a mom, I’m counting all the wins. Big and small!
What small project are you doing today for your family?
What are your snack hacks for kids?
Happy Homemaking!
