I am asked so many times about easy decor that doesn’t take “an eye for decorating” and isn’t overwhelming. I am also told often that some craft or decorating stores are just overwhelming, and my friends just want some easy suggestions that don’t require too much time or stress!
If you saw a gallery of photos of all the different ways I decorate, you would see that yes, I like the big, bold, dramatic styles, but… I also decorate simple too! I love changing up my decor and keeping things “new” around the house. The items aren’t necessarily new, but with a couple new additions, I am able to switch things up around the house to find the desired look!
…And a few weeks later I switch it up again! I came up with a list of 5 simple decor items that would be a great addition to what you already have, or even a perfect start to collecting your own fall decor this year with 5 simple things.
So here are a few fall finds on AMAZON that are easy, affordable, and stress free! Enjoy!!

- Fall Stems
When it comes to floral, you know I have pretty high standards and I buy really high-quality stems for my handmade wreaths. However, when it comes to floral inside the home, I have a completely different take on it all.
You don’t need designer stems inside your home. If you can afford them, great! Do it! But I don’t see much of a difference than a brand name when comes to certain seasonal florals made of inside your house.
These are perfect for your kitchen island, coffee table, entry table, etc. I think you get the idea.
Put them in a stone vase, a farmhouse vase, a boho vase. Because these stems will adapt to any style. I mean that! These vases are a great option if you don’t know where to start. You can have the stems in all three together or split up throughout your home too! They come in a few different colors. The Black and white options are very trendy right now.
These do not require any level of creativity. You will simply put them in a container/vase and just fluff them out a little, bend stems (or cut the bottom stem as needed). But you don’t have to worry about making an arrangement or anything.
This is perfect for anyone! You’ll have it set up in seconds-5 minutes tops. I would recommend storing in a rubbermaid to preserve them throughout the year. (or you can also wrap them gently in a garbage bag, and keep them in the vase standing up so they maintain shape).
2. A Textured Fall Throw
This Fall throw is great for your couch in your living room, or even at the end of your bed. Its inexpensive and has a cute pattern & texture to it as well.
Thousands of great reviews, and fairly inexpensive! A textured throw is my go-to when it comes to seasons changing. In my opinion you don’t have to have pillows changing with every season. A simple change in throws can set the mood for the room and can match the season!
Imagine this throw on your sofa with the fall floral bunch on your coffee table. It’s not too overwhelming but yet just enough of that fall touch to make a big change in your living room!
3. Pumpkins
Is it fall without the presence of a few pumpkins?? These White pumpkins are a not popping with color, but they will add to the style in your home. White pumpkins are versatile and this set can be split for a few different places in your home. Not to mention the acorns and pinecones could fill a wooden bowel on the coffee table (and add a few wooden beads).
4. Fall Signs
Fall signs are always a staple. Sometimes we just need small ones for an entry table or on the counter etc. These come in a pack of 3! They are 3D which is trending right now. I like 3D signs because it adds more dimension than a regular painted sign. You don’t have to have a ton of signs though, so a small set like this could be a great start to your fall collection!
5. Fall Garlands or Banners
Leaves are a classic fall “filler”. You can put them in a million different places. You could wrap them around a candle display, you can add them to your mantle, you can add them to your entry table as well.
This classic fall garland will never be “out of style”. It is the constant, maple leaf garland. Always looks so good on front porches or above doorways too.
Banners and garlands have been around forever. Although the materials change over time (i.e. scrapbooking paper, leather, leaves, pom poms, etc), they are pretty common each year for nearly every holiday. They are easy to hang, and easy to please! Win!
Okay friends! Happy decorating for Fall. These 5 items are sure to dress up your space without spending a fortune or going overboard. These are also great if you are in between styles and trying to figure out what you want for next year.
Happy Decorating!
