Traveling with Toddlers and taking them to restaurants is a pretty daunting mission. Keeping them well-behaved? Sorta beyond our control. However, having toys and activities ready on-the-go can contribute to keep your kiddo entertained and busy on-the-go.
Here’s some of my Favorite Activities and most recommended by other amazing Moms like you!
This Magnet tin scene is a great travel activity! Pack this to go and take into a restaurant as well.
I have been waiting to purchase this fun activity and just ordered it myself! These Magnets look a littler larger, and with my son’s current interest in animals, this will be an activity that will keep him busy!
This I Spy Card game would be great even for my almost 3 year-old. I could read them for him, he could look at the pictures and then find them. This is a great game to keep your little one busy finding while on the road!
These coloring pages are a big hit as well! I prefer a notebook-type on the road, but I bring these to church, etc, and know lots of people who use them in the car.
Busy boards are an easy go-to for busy toddler! Below are some top-rated busy boards for travel.
I love the reusable stickers! We have used them quite a bit. I also love the suction cup toys on the window. My toddler is really enjoying them right now.
Traveling on the Road can be tricky, but as mommas we just figure it out, and we love sharing what works with others!
We also have this exact buckle toy, and my baby and toddler enjoy it. My toddler is learning colors and this works great to help teach matching colors. Worth the money!
These sensory tubes look so fun as well!
My last piece of advice? Buy a toy of something they are interested in. A small doll, dinosaur, or a die cast model car. These are so great for them to have in unfamiliar places (like a restaurant) or just on a long car ride for them to hold.
Are there other toys and activities I should add to this comprehensive list? Share them below in the comments!
Traveling with children isn’t easier than it was before when I was first married, but I have found that small surprises, stopping for food and just being a little spontaneous in adventures keeps the tension at bay.
Thanks for stopping by mommas!
XOXO,
Kelsie Ann
