As a Mom of two, I am learning that “you get what you pay for”, and I have had to upgrade some items with my second baby. But, there are many items I won’t upgrade until I absolutely have to in order to save money.

Strollers & Carseats

Up first we have the Uppa Baby Vista Set. This amazing set includes a carseat as well! High price, but great quality. These carseats hold their value so well. I have heard amazing things about how easy the strollers ride. I chose this specific one because it is gender neutral, and if it were for me I would select a gender neutral color so all my babies could use it. The carseat is dark, and I totally recommend a darker carseat. You would be shocked what a baby can do in the carseat on a car ride! Dark leaves less staining and also can hide the stains should they come.
This cozy ganoosh is the perfect accessory for a Momma that needs to get out of the house during those chiller months! This can be used once baby can sit up, until toddler age! A wonderful and thoughtful gift, and a great accessory to pair with a luxury set.

I have the City Select Double Stroller, I found it used in great condition on a really good deal. This stroller has been so nice. Its easy to push around. I often would just pull out the stroller for a quick trip inside Costco as I could easily put the car seat in the stroller. I push both kids, with the carseat and without it. Now that my little one is 6 months he likes to sit up. I love that the seats can recline, he has taken lots of naps. I wish I would have had a bassinet for the infant walks but I will add that to my wishlist if I ever have a spring or summer baby!
This stroller is so easy to use and fold and change positions, even the handle bars adjust. It has a HUGE basket, and I have been able to purchase replacement items easily! I also have the riding board and look foward to using it once my toddler gains a little more independence. I use it as a single stroller often as well, and it looks great. LOVE the recline!
Although many consider this stroller as luxury, I consider it as necessary and affordable! Well worth every penny, and even brand new isn’t too much. You will need to purchase carseat adapters!
You can start out with this stroller (with one seat) and then purchase the second seat later. Even with two kids, you could use the car seat adapters with new baby, and your older little one can be in the toddler seat until you’re ready to purchase the second seat. This is a great starter option, with the ability to grow to 3 kids!
If I were to get a new stroller someday, I would probably go with Uppa Baby (listed above), or Mockingbird stroller as a cheaper option but also quite luxurious! I would like to have the ability to have a bassinet and toddler seat. They seem really easy to find, and also hold their value really well. The Mockingbird Stroller Bassinet has the option to purchase a Bassinet stand so you can use it for sleep! I love the idea of having less stuff, more options. A Doona Car seat is also a stroller. Amazing right?? It would be a lifesaver as a new mom right after having baby. Not having to carry the giant carseat while momma is still healing would be the best ever. Just being able to freely push the carseat through anywhere? Yes please! This would be the best for a frequent traveler or any Mom, really! It is heavier to carry, but also pretty versatile! Just think of the ease of Dr. Appointments and airports with a young infant.
The Baby Bjorn bouncer is all the buzz for high-quality bouncers. Compared to the cheapest options out there, this is definitely a luxury bouncer. These bouncers are well known for longevity and for baby to use much longer.
This would be a great item for a baby registry for yourself, or a thoughtful gift for someone else. Any gift that involves baby being settled for mom to get something done is priceless! Am I right?
The Ergobaby carrier is well known in the high-end carriers. If you’re like me and have tried 5 different cheaper versions, you might realize you could have bought the more expensive one by now. Babies are different and so hard to figure out! This carrier is a great luxury option and you might find more comfort as well.
Baby Sleep
Next up, we have the Hatch Rest + Baby Sound Machine. I had the earlier version, the Hatch +, and let me tell you the charging dock is genius so you can move it from room to room. We loved our Hatch. It is definitely one of the most expensive sound machines, but I really enjoyed having it. (I don’t recommend letter your child hold it on vacation… He might break it. Bring a portable sound machine that is much cheaper! Just from experience:)

These top rated monitors are a bit of a luxury compared to the simple ones with just audio or simple video. However, as I said before, you can’t put a price tag on peace of mind for a Mom. It truly is priceless!
This Dreamland Sleep sack is quite a splurge, but when you’re overtired it doesn’t matter. Better to have it sooner than later, right?! This sleep sack is a GREAT option to add to your baby registry, or buy for someone else in a neutral color so it can keep giving for either gender & through the years.
Feeding Baby
Whether you plan to breastfeed, combination feed, or supplement, or formula feed, there are plenty of items to add to that long list need for your little one.
Wireless Wearable Breast pumps were definitely considered a luxury not too long ago, but they are quickly becoming a must-have on mom’s lists. Pumping is extremely time consuming, and its even harder when you feel tied down to a chair and your mobility is limited. This pump allows you to move around while pumping and is known for being efficient, strong, and a life-saver for busy moms. The baby Brezza may not be something I would buy myself (without my husband getting upset), but is definitely one of those items to consider adding.
